As with any other 70's B&O, capacitors can't be ruled out as troublemakers. In the Beocenter 3300 especially the caps in the powersupply and amplifier modules are known to cause strange faults. A kit is available. Martin

Welcome to Beoworld ! The balance control slider could be the problem. The slider is of the same build as those of the Beomaster 1900/2400 and they are prone to failure. Of course, it could be many other things, f.e. a front panel switch problem, but try playing around with the balance control a little and also the speaker switches. Martin

Welcome to Beoworld ! Your tapedeck is probably in need of new belts. Belts are available as a complete set. They are not the easiest ones to replace but comes with mounting instructions. Martin

Look where the hinges grip into the top cover and locate the little gap at the extreme top of the plastic hinge pieces. This is where you insert a tiny flat-bladed screwdriver and gently lever the hinge parts outwards about 1 mm or so while pulling the cover upwards. Do one side at a time unless you have 4 hands. What Chris means, I think, is that many Beocenter 2200's were originally sold together with some X-type speakers and it would easily pull larger and much better speakers and at the same time give much better results. It's a japanese hybrid (IC) amplifier construction so, soundwise, probably can't be compared directly to the older B&O

The speaker plugs needed are standard 2-pin DIN. Actually the only industry standard speaker plug ever produced. Martin

Neil would probably be your best shot and I'm sure he can pull a rabbit or two. I generally don't do TV's or videos and don't even have the manual for the 7802. Nice TV though, a classic piece ! Martin

I don't recall exactly but isn't it merely a question of holding the right side of the front panel in while clicking the left side ? Martin
