Guy, The module was available as an option for those who were able to receive stereo signals (and could afford it). I don't think I have any spare modules and be prepared to pay a nice little sum if you find one. Not surprisingly, the owners don't want to part with them. Note that there are two basic types of MPX modules. There are exceptions

Tempting indeed, especially since they were never available here in Denmark but I don't dare to think of the shipping costs... Martin

Press "Pause" and wait for the arm to lift and the platter to stop. Then simply push the arm back home by hand. That's the only way to do it. Martin

Not my cup of tea for an auction house and one of the reasons I've recommended potential bidders to visit the showroom and do a visual check of everything before bidding. I live near Lauritz in Herlev and will be happy to drive by. Thanks for the warning. Martin

Welcome to Beoworld ! A few inconsistencies, I'm afraid: - Beogram 1200 is not from the 80's. - Normally, the Beogram 1200 does not support the MMC1-5 range of cartridges. - The Beogram 1200 has no potentiometers inside for speed adjustment. In models with electronic speed control (not Beogram 1200) the two potentiometers are for 33 1/3 RPM

Hi, I am not sure if a B&O repairshop will accept this Beocenter in for repair. Most likely they will tell you to buy a new but having said that, there are some repairshops willing to do it, paying respect to these wonderful design pieces. You can buy a cap kit from me, I don't recall the exact cost but probably in the EUR 30 region with packing

Other Beoworld'ers will have other methods but NOVUS products works fine for me. Polish using NOVUS #2 and clean afterwards using NOVUS #1. Remember to clean the inside of the lid as well, you'll be surprised how dirty it can be inside. NOVUS can be found on Ebay but can also be bought in Denmark. Martin

Well, if you changed the left and right amps and the fault FOLLOWED, then surely the fault must be in that amp section, right ? The front panel switches can be reached by losening and flipping up the front panel. Sides and front veneer panels off first (tiny hex/unbraco), then one screw from above right at the center, near the transformer. When lifting

There are no other fuses for the amplifiers than the two mains fuses (top ones in the photo). I don't have the manual right here but I seem to remember that the missing fuse is for a 33V AC voltage used only in the cassettedeck section of the Beocenter 4000 (derivate model). I believe the fuses in the photos are correct for your Beocenter. Try swapping
