I think it would be possible to work under Windows XP but you will need of course a converter from RS232 to USB. This way I think it will be possible to make it work. For Windows 7 I cannot say for sure

Yeap. That could be a solution but I'm afraid my STB does not have the Apple remote. I have it on my 7-32 but it's not my master so.....

7-55 totAlly agree. But it's a matter of price difference as well. This might be a small but significant detail!!!!

Indeed it's very old gear and I'm pretty much sure that it is not used anymore by anyone. But maybe we can help if you let us know the issue

But the point is that the stb list does not open since only the PC source can be entered ! I mean if you chose another stb source the list opens but if you chose pc nothing happens.

Great result Leslie!!!! Mine should be like yours with only one difference that I also try to paint the LCD frame as well! Not so sure about the result but we will see!!! About the AV9000 it will take a while I guess but please not too many color changes. Can't cope with the rhythm!!!!!

Actually it is not very rare. It was the first ir eye. But the disadvantage is that it is not as strong in signal ad the current one. Used to have one but above 3 meters it was not that active!! Now I have the new one and I can send signal from 8 meters!!!
