Wow, just when my BeoPort-dedicated laptop starts getting old, here comes a B&O one..I love the design, and since it will stay at home for BeoPort only, I don't mind the huge screen. Now, at USD 2,000-2,500, it makes BeoMaster 5 suddenly become almost a bargain! I'll wait to have more info, but this could be the "home laptop" I'm

Regarding Trip's comments, you raise exactly the other point that "troubles" me with B&O nowadays: why making so many product launches? The people who invested in a product/design are not going to replace it whenever Struer realize they made mistakes when designing the product and have no update to offer (think Serenata/BeoMedia/DVD2

Why they chose to add V.AUX instead of PC is beyond my understanding..All BeoVisions nowadays can act as PC monitors, so the PC key makes more sense to me, besides, the BeoMaster 5 owners will have to reprogram their product to make it react to V.AUX rather than PC commands, when used in a video setup.. Finally, as others said, "TV" and "DTV"

Happy New Year BeoWorlders! As usual each year, I'm making my B&O wishlist, maybe if others gave their list, we could send the whole post to B&O for customer feedback/suggestions (!). Here I go: - all BeoSounds speaking the same language = same extended display (like BC2/BS4) on all products to benefit from BeoPort sources, all CD drives

Hi there, You just have to setup both products in the correct mode (video 1 for the BeoVision, audio 1 for the BeoCenter). Press "std-by+list" at the same time on your Beo4, then press "list" until your reach "option", press "Go", then you have "v.option"on the screen, simply press 1, and do exactly

There was a long thread when Apple launched the Snow Leopard update & people found out their BMLink no longer worked.. Has anything been undertaken yet, have B&O provided Anders, the software developper, with some kind of assistance & is everything sorted out, or should I refrain from "upgrading" to Snow Leopard?

I think B&O are well aware of their past technological choices & that they are still late with the current products: BeoCenter 2 with no HDMI output, no BD player BeoSound 1/9000/3200 can't play MP3 CDs BeoVisions sold in France still have an optional DVB-T tuner, when it should be factory-fitted HDR2 is still on their website, and is fitted

I think B&O has - for once - jumped in quite early with digital music and , to a lesser extent, digital video; I remember when BeoCenter AV5 was launched, the product development team said it was the end of the VCR & that people would download their films from the web..see where we are now.. As for music, ever since I bought my BeoPort, I sold

Hi, Having both Form 2 and A8s, from a purely functional point of view, I would suggest using the Form 2 at home and A8s on the go. The Form 2 is extremely fragile, bulky and inadequate for outdoor use, whereas you can go anywhere with the A8s on your head, they won't drop, and when not in use, you can put them safely in their leather pouch, they

Oh my God, I would kill for such a setup..really! I really wonder how long B&O will wait before they release flat panel speakers again, the interview with the UK CEO seems to say "not for now, there's more urgent", but never say never.. Splendid!
