Actually, at the iTunes Music store, look at the iTunes Plus link on the right side of the main page. All songs marked '+' are 256kbps (approx), and non-DRM. I've also had great luck with the music from Amazon.com as well. All recorded in the same 256k range, and non-DRM. Availability may vary by country, I suppose.

Batteries in the BeoLink 7000 are intended to be changed by an authorised service center only. You'll have a merry timetrying to get them for yourself, and then soldering them in.

BS: I think you might be a bit behind the crest of a breaking wave, but you're not far behind.... I am fortunate to have a BS-9000 and an AppleTV in my living room: and while I find myself using the ATV more and more, I am not yet ready to box up the 9000. When I use Amazon's own 'downloader' it always manages to properly import the music and artwork into iTunes on my G5 iMac.

Trip's use of the term 'full parallel' may cause some consternation here. Just keep in mind the number of PowerLink outputs available for the '2nd' system. Other than that, you'll be fine, but the system is either/or, not both at once.

Hi Padre, in theory, there is no difference between concurrent BV-4's and BV-9's. Within the same generations, the panels and supporting electronics are, for all intents and purposes, identical. Russ

Congrats Weebyx!! Sometimes one has to go all the way around the world to find home, eh? I hope that others here can learn from your experiences. Russ

Nope, sorry. The tape deck expects to be attached directly to the BeoSound. With your current setup you have no way to operate the BeoCord via remote control. Now, a 2500...that'd do the trick. Russ
