Weird, after staring at a blank screen for an hour, all of a sudden it came to life properly

I am setting up my new Beosound 5. I made all of the connections and plugged the unit in. The screen came on with the initial set up menu. Before I could do anything with it the menu disappeared and the screen went blank. All it does now is the red standby light flashes. Any thoughts? I can call the dealer tomorrow of course but they are closed for

I am planning on using the Beosound 5 just for music. Actually was planning on calling dealer today to see if I need to have it connected to the TV for set up or any other purpose if all I want to do is use the Beosound 5 for music.

I am very eager to get it. Now I just have to learn how to convert my Apple Lossless files to a Beosound 5 friendly format.

Question....Dealer says the shortest cable available to connect the Beosound 5 to the Beomaster 5 is around 15 feet long. Is that correct? I will be placing Beosound 5 on top of cabinet with Beomaster 5 in it so would only need about a 2 foot cable.
