I fear that may be the end for your woofers. One of my pairs of S45-2's has a non-orginal woofer on it, if you can post a picture of yours we could tell you if yours are original. If you bought a suitably-sized woofers you will have working speakers, they just won't sound as good as the originals. Simon

eBay is the best place to find them, but you will probably need to be patient. In the meantime you may wish to keep an eye out for some suitable speakers, the s45-2 would be a good place to start. One of the members here has a pair on eBay at the moment. Simon

Have you tried the Beolabs with a different source and the Beosound with different speakers so you can narrow it down to the source or the speakers? It might not be the cables at all! Simon
