Some comments on Bose......I have owned a number of Bose system and still have the Wave radio. B&O is not for everyone. I still recommend listening to Bose systems to friends. Bose have multi room, good options for digital music, they are now better with surround sound, easy to use, they can generate great sound in a minimilist fashion at a good

The STB list is becoming a subset of what is available. Products are being added often. Apple Remote can be added as can many others. Unfortunately B&O look like charging for adding each additional item when visiting your home. They should update the whole list and the list should be freely available. Beoaus.

Hard to remember the details. The latest version sold was 3.1. There was an update which brought it to 3.13. (I have that),. Check the sticker on the back for the version. The upgrade kit came with the sticker. If you had a single scart on the TV then the STB could be played via the V8000, it could also record. You could also record from the STB without

Can't remember the latest version. AU$150, get the unit serviced and cleaned as well. Change is useful if you need to connect a STB to the V8000. Check the BV7 manual for details. Pity the old site has gone as I detailed the update there. beoaus.

Jessemand: And now for some questions: Will it be possible to see the PC-recordings on the 7-40 and 6-26... if yes, in a good quality? Link quality is pretty good in my experience, I use it. PC recordings are generally not suitable for large screens without some prior setup and I'm not sure how you would get the signal routed though the BV7. Will

A number of options here. There is no DIN aux socket on the BV7 unfortunately. If you still have the DIN cable for the beogram get yourself a DIN to RCA cable. On the right side of the BV7 there is a connection for a video camera or like. This is more of a temporary solution. Alternately try an additional Scart to RCA connector which would allow you

Ok - Enough upside down jokes..... The functions I mentioned are not swapped they just do nothing. So they have either be forgotten or mapped to another key sequence... Rather strange I thought and pretty difficult to use Foxtel IQ now... Beoaus.

Looks like some of the Beo4 keys have been remapped for some reason on the BV9. To fast forward the command on a BV7 or Avant was GO then >> Looks like this has been changed as has GO then <<. It could cause quite a problem. Anyone have the re-mapping service sheet or know from experience. Thanks, Beoaus

Beoport would be set to the default option possibly 6. The Beoport will not act as the audio master in this case. It can on specific setups only. The BS9000 will need to be upgraded to handle N.Music or be a MKIII version. In this setup the Beoport acts as a slave but receives its commands from the audio master BS9000 via masterlink.. No track detail

Pretty sure there was an adapter that allowed for the newer series of cartridges. Even the reverse adapter was available I think. Probably as difficult to find now as the Powerlink switch, CD4 adapter, an RIAA for a 1202/3 or the remote power adapter..... Sorry I'm rambling ... Beoaus.
