• Re: PAL TV in a NTSC zone

100 Kanji is quite good ! Romaji is very easy. Hiragana, and Katakana starts the serious studying periods. I had a problem with Kanji until I took it up an hour each day with a Sumi-e brush and a paper pad. If you can make it, and say it, you can learn it. It seemed to me that we had some members here from, or living in Japan. Perhaps they can provide

  • Re: A9 Keyring issues......

It is a quick push of the button, not much more. Sounds like another tirp back to the store if the other features are working. Robust as they are, the units are not indestructible. My first A-9 decided to attack the inside of the car door, and lost. It was replaced, with the second one spending time in solitary confinement in a drawer.

  • Re: PAL TV in a NTSC zone

I lived in Takodanobaba when I was there as a Grad student. B&O, and a great deal more then was off my radar financially. I've been back for business and a few class reunions ( Waseda Daigaku ) and returned with electronics from most of those trips. Your observations about the B&O store are something new, as I found them more organized when

Glad to hear you are planning out your stay in Japan. You will be NTSC-M region, and B&O is well received in Japan too. You will also be.in DVD Region 2, and will need a multi-region DVD player if you are going to take European or North American DVDs to enjoy. If you don't purchase this ahead of your trip, spend some time in Akihabara, just

  • Re: Beoport/Beomedia

Hughie; Both are each excellent products. The BEOPORT, which was released first, connects to your PC or MAC and certain B&O music systems. It allows you to access: N.RADIO, N.MUSIC, PHOTOS, TV, local RADIO CD, and PC. Using certain XP PC programs it also allows VIDEO clips to be played, such as MY VIDEOS. I do not know about Vista, as I avoid it

  • Re: Beoport N.Music number of tracks in albums all wrong

Thorne; Got your message. I've left nice, warm, tropical Brasil, and am presently in North America buying a Mediacentre PC case and computer parts to take back with me. And I'm freezing. It may be the speed of your PC, but most likely it is the fact that your PC has been " conditioned " to go to autoscan, as a rule. Initally this was

  • Re: Hotels with B&O: I feel just at home...

Nice photos, Christian; My wife and I enjoyed looking around the Hotel Bilder / Gallery via the link you provided. The Gastronomy and Wine Celler indicates the degree of severe hardships suffered during your conference stay.( We know . . .it's the job, but someone has to endure it. ) Any photos of the BL 4 placement in the Dungeon ?
