Maybe as the electrons came across the Atlantic, they were jumbled. I thought this forum is about a common interest in Bang & Olufsen products. Instead its sounds like a religious or political discussion which usually nobody ever wins. I think most people are not enthused about remarks that are made only to anger or insult people. Not everyone likes

Steve, I read your answer with great interest. I live in the US and would definitely buy a switching box you are thinking about producing. I would love it to auto sense but it would probably be easier to have it work from the Beo4/5. I would prefer a "hidden-away" box because of all the wires. I would think 4 port input would meet most requirements

Yesterday the Beosound 5 and the table stand was delivered. I am waiting for the Beomaster 5. I am planning on selling my US version Beomaster 7000 and Beogram CD7000 in about a month. I understand the doubts about BS5. It is indeed expensive but I believe this is the way forward for B&O. Ripped and downloaded music are more than a reality today

The BM5 would not even realise there is a wifi network as it just gets normal Ethernet connection. Advantage of the Airport Express, It uses the latest Wifi norm

This thread is quite interesting to read and great fun! I guess B&O is exploring whatever it takes to improve sales during a recession. I don't like the gold BV7 but if it sells, why not? However I hope B&O doesn't do too much of this. They don't want to tarnish the brand! (pun intended) Imagine a limited edition gold BS9000!

bayerische: OK, so my question is fairly straightforward, I think since iTunes is now DRM free, can the tracks be played on the Beosound 3? According to the specification, Beosound 3 supports MP3 and WMA playback. I converted a DRM free song in iTunes to 192 Kbps MP3 which worked. That song was purchased in iTunes and was previously DRM encoded. I don't

Actually B&O's target market in the US is usually persons between age 30 and 50 who do use the internet. However generalizations about age just don't always work. I am past 50 and have used computers and the internet for a long time. I am also the one who in previous posts talks about the coming of the day when the CD players will be regarded
