I have decoded your BeamIT remote and I can confirm it uses " Pulse Distance Encoding " using 80 micro second pulses with a typical pulse train of 13.5 milli-seconds B&O remotes use the same type of encoding method, but the pulses are 270 micro seconds and the overall pulse train is about 140 milli seconds using a totally different protocol

Sjaac, You sent me an e-mail with Lintronic timings for a Panasonic DMR-EH67 and for the last 3 days I have been trying to send you the completed XML file, however your mail server has been and remains unavailable, therefore I am posting a download link HERE

Hangglider, Your Feller BeamIT remote arrived this morning. I did a quick 10 minute review of it and I can see why Lintronic and everyone else has been having problems and also why the B&O supplied XML will never work and I guess it was not tested unless it is intended for a different Feller remote. Gary, Thank you for your kind feedback I do not sell, licence or distribute my software and it is ONLY on my system. I developed the software about a year after the introduction of the Beo5 to create working "Drag-n-Drop" 3rd party XML files which have the digits and hard keys pre-assigned because even today the B&O Beo5 Configuration

Julliuz, Let me add my welcome to that of Jaff and Matthew.. You may wish to continue your reading about the Beo5 and capturing infrared codes HERE If you wish to control 3rd party products with your Beo5, depending on the product you may not need to capture the codes from the original remote control. An XML file may already exist or one could be made

Gary, I have converted all the Pronto HEX codes for the Onkyo TXSR-700 you found on the Remote Central web site and made a XML file for it with all the hard keys pre-assigned. You can download the XML file HERE which you should extract from the ZIP file to C:\ which will automatically put the file into the correct directory of the Beo5 Configuration

There are several IR to RF solutions around for 433 Mhz devices which is the standard frequency in Europe, but the Beo5 itself can only send infrared signals and for controlling any RF device you will always need a converter such as the Lintronic solution.
