Congrats on that beautiful setup. I am a bit jealous, no space for a 40" in my apartment. Cheers JK

Step up doesn't work unless you step down past the dimmer or buy a european lamp. ;-) I think Beo5 becomes more and more tempting, only problem is I have a MAC and would want to program it myself. And some point I may splurge on the Lutron Grafik eye .... If they would release the lutron dimmer for US hmmmm that would be it.

The general thread doesn't help much as most products do not seem to work in US with the different power and frequency. The Lutron Grafik eye system is expensive and tricky to install. For most I would think a simple table lamp dinner would do.

One more thing, the transformers might probably cost you more then a cheap TV. I bough a 3 low powered for the BS2300/BL2500. These were like 30 bucks a pop. For a TV you need a much higher rated supply, these are expensive ..... And yes, the frequency might be an issue ..... mine somehow work without it - I had problems with timers and alarm clocks

Yes you probably can make it work somehow, as Trip indicates. Is it a good idea? For starters, B&O US will not be able to service your TV. I learned this the hard way with a phone I bough in Germany few years

Its difficult. For email and web its fine. I don't think its up to the task for HD streaming or a large library of losless recorded CD. I have a Imac in the back, and my Itunes is on a NAS. I did not when I bought it that I wouldnt be able to do Itunes but can live with that as I only need it to rip new CDs and transfer to Ipod. I would take a very

Is there anything that would work in the US? I like the Aludim but it says 230 volt while we have 120. JK

Even though I have an Imac my Air became my main computer at work and at home What bugs me the most is that it is "crapping" out when trying to stream videos over the internet. Watching a HD movie from netflix or Hulu is a no go. Temperature management will kick in and slow down the processor so much that videos become unwatchable. Also the

I have not tried to use repeat on exit but know for sure that repeat on go doesn't send the unit to standby or activates genius. Fast scrolling works for me though. I have a very early US BV8 32. Fast scrolling worked from day 1.
