Moxxey, Hug a tree, save the planet. Solar power is the future for your home.
Yeah, but everything else is on standby and, frankly, the Sky box isn't doing very much when it's left on. HD access is minimal and it's not processing the incoming signal. It's in a low power state anyhow. And, as
It sounds like you might not have not used the right speaker setting in the sound menu. Sorry, I've forgotten the correct one - but check the manual as it goes 0,1,2,3 or similar. Your dealer is right about the 7.4. Its a great speech mono channel and is very good in my similar application to yours. I have exactly
Unfortunately 10.x introduced a handshake issue that made startup of the Sky box from standby sometimes will not work reliably.
I must admit, I don't ever keep my Sky box on standby - it needs to be on to get the Anytime content. I have 10.05 installed so I might try and see if it will wake the Sky box
Has anyone seen an update for BeoSystem 3 / BV 7 recently and do you know what the updates contained. In particular, I'm looking for improved handshake functionallity over HDMI for AppleTV2 and Sky Box. I'm currently running 10.02.
In what way? I have a BV7 and I don't see any handshaking issues

Just seen the BV7-55 3D at my dealer and was impressed. They had a 3D demo of the universe and the depth was amazing. Only problem is, once I took the glasses off, my eyes still haven't fully readjusted. I don't know if I could watch 3D very often and I can't see me wearing those glasses to watch 3D football! It is huge though. Felt very
My BeoSound 5 customers, whilst enjoying the sumptuous sound and the benefits of MOTS, find all the levers wheels etc very confusing....
Amazing. I made this observation in a debate about the Beosound 5 UI and everyone who own's a Beosound 5 (forgetting I owned one for two months) jumped on my back saying

It's a reasonable value approach to keeping up with the latest BV7-40. However, I'm stuck on the MKIV as I don't see a compelling reason to move up to the MKV panel or the forthcoming 3D panel.
I'm sure there will be new technologies, but I can't see how they
...when you consider swapping BV7 panels.
Which is what I do! I've swapped out my BV7-40 panels 3 times now. Two upgrades, one as it was faulty and B&O replaced the panel. However, the speakers, stand and other components remain. It's a reasonable value approach to keeping up with the latest BV7
I have tried this.
It's also a bit out-of-date. I was going to pull the trigger on a pre-loved BV9 a few weeks ago, but missed out on the sale. It's still listed as available. There are also no options for finding a BV10 and other newer products, even though a few dealers have these for sale. Talking of
It's been around for some time, connected to the individual shops homepages.
Yes, which was sort of my original point - rather than the stores accepting these pre-owned products (which they do reluctantly or not at all), it would be wiser to set up an official system through the current pre-loved suppliers
