Lets hope this is a positive for B&O. I have been very disappointed with all the products released in recent years. The Beosound 6 mp3 player is a very poor product compared to the recent iPods. The Beolab 9 speakers are plain ugly. The overpriced Beovision 7, supplied with HD screen but standard definition DVD player. Large poor sounding PC speakers

Tip. Go to the Apple Store website, click on the iPhone and look for the chat symbol next to the phone number, top left. Click on it to open a chat box to Apple staff and pretend your buying. You can ask them as many questions as you like. I do it often. Naughty but nice.

When?

My BS4 isn't shutting down at the service centre. It appears that its a problem external to the BS4. Suspicion is pointing towards the Apple Airport Express connected to the A.AUX of the BS4 for listening iTunes causing problems or maybe a masterlink problem. ???? to be continued

I've read about BS4 faults on this forum, I have to agree with Dave on this one.

I dropped mine off at the dealers yesterday for the service guys to test & fix.

It took 23 mins to shut down this time. The glass slides up before the screen goes blank. If I press CD on the BoeSound 4 the display shows the CD name but the CD doesn't spin. I have to press power OFF then CD for it to start again.

Sure is. Looks like I will have to disconnect it and return it. What a pain.
