Beaker - I have a B&O original accessories brochure from the 1980's if you want it? It's a small A5 14 page affair listing the remotes (BL1k, 5k,7k), furniture, speaker stands, headphones, tv stands etc... Chris.

Do people just make up RRP prices for B&O . Or is there a dealer out there who really charges £500 for a Beo4 ? Chris.

I have a rather naff Beocenter 4000 (yes - the twin cassette Japanese one) which I would nevertheless like to get up to good order. The black plastic push rod linkage for the on/off switch has been broken at the push end. Anyone got one as repairing it may be a bit tricky with it being so flimsy? I think it may be identical in the similarly plasticky

I'm not doubting your enthusiasm one iota John - I just cannot accept your opinion that the 5000 types are not good amps and the way you simply dismiss some equipment which others may cherish. It sometimes beggars belief how dismissive of anything other than your 8000 you can be John. To call the 5000/5500 "not good amps" is nonsense. Not the best amps ever built for sure (neither is the BM8000 for that matter) but still better than most. And the 6500 WON'T struggle for power driving the M150's for most peoples use - even
