My two favourites: the 4000 and the 8000! The heart's choice: the 4000, because she is the mother of them all. However, the last 4002 were almost late 4000 (heavy platter, AC motor) so they're also worth enquiring.

On one of my Beocords 9000 the 7915 regulator (IC2) was dead, and the motor wasn't running. That's also worth testing!

Hi, On my (early) Beocord 9000 there is no fuse, but a protection circuit instead.

(Almost) well done! Those relays are nothing but trouble... On my Beogram CD3300 the same relay poses the same problems. Even after a good cleanup the problem reappears. I haven't been able to source any so far (the flat ones with the same pinout disposition). Should anyone here have a reliable supply source, please let us know!

You can go ahead and 'play' with those R14 and R15 (not the ones you're showing then, but those above the relay) : the risk is zero (yes, really) and you might be surprised!
