Could it be possible that the display has a defect? To do fault finding I would have swapped the display to make sure where the fault is, either the PCB or display.

Hi Mark, any repairs on the cassette unit since most of the failures are caused by the belts? Would be great for others to see on video how this replacement is done! Did a few myself (about 8) and it's always the belt.

At the moment I'm refurbishing my Penta II's (what else do I do ) and will finish this project tomorrow. One display has failed, that's why I bought it. But there's hope since I remember after the purchase I already had one in my "closet" . Have to test it first and if ok we can do business Will let you know by tomorrow!

I wonder if this white box is the same as in this Ebay ad (type 2075 MCL active kit)?
