• Re: Beogram 5500

There are three screws at the leaf springs to adjust the deck height. There's a small fee but it may be worth getting the service manual from our download section, it will tell you exactly how to do it correctly. Martin

  • Re: Beocord 9000/8000 VUs and Belts

Belts are available as a set. Idlers are, as far as I know, not available new but in most cases a good cleaning, lubrication and fresh belts will get the Beocord going again. The 4-digit display can be repaired but it's a bit costly because of the hours and special tools etc. that are needed. Repaired segments will be much brighter than old ones

  • Re: Beocord 7000 - Cassette Deck ?

Beocord 6000 is all different, more like the 8000. Similar types of decks are used in Beocord 5500, 6500 and 7000 (and some Beocenters etc.). The cabinets are the same but I'm not sure about the general electronics. I've repaired many but never had to interchange decks. I agree with Peter on the 5000 though. Martin

Two different tapedecks were used during production. I don't know if they are interchangable. Martin

  • Re: Spares for BeoGram 8000

Welcome to Beoworld ! I am currently very low on tangential parts but maybe another member can help with parts from a scrapped machine. You will be able to use parts from a Beogram 6006 as well. Anyway, could you be more specific, which motor is missing ? A photo could maybe help us tell you exactly what's missing and if we/I can help you to the

  • Re: Rare B&O AV7000 Surround sound decoder!

Much more structured than the one, I had. Mine had lots of discrete soldered wires from board to board. I suppose this one is a production model where mine was a prototype. Does this one have a serial number label at the back or underneath and AV7000 lettering on the front ? Mine hadn't. Martin

  • Re: Rare B&O AV7000 Surround sound decoder!

Rare to see and I believe only a few prototypes were made. The lid on this one is obviously not correct, it's from a Beomaster 5000 or 5500. It should have been black mirror, like the rest of the 7000 system, like this one : Martin

  • Re: Beogram failing to "see" records

Sensor arm lamp output is becoming marginal (filament degrades) and/or positioning with respect to the lens is "on the edge". Martin

  • Re: Beogram 4002 Lamp in Servo

Link is www.rswww.com There has been a rush on tangential parts lately and I have no lamps of the correct type in stock. RS 587-686 is a bit smaller than the original lamp but specs look close enough in my opinion and it may do the job. Do let us know how it works if you decide to try. Martin
