Taking it apart is not hard - if you know how. The service manual will tell you, it's available for download from the products section for silver and gold members along with tons of other stuff and will take you through the task should the need arise. Martin

Michael, Welcome to Beoworld ! This is a very common thing for these decks after standing unused for some time. Contacts inside oxidate. The correct thing would of course be to take it all apart, clean the contacts and put it back together but I'm sure that less will do in your case. Keep on trying, eventually it will have broken through the micro

I'm afraid the product page listings are far from complete when it comes to the vintage things and some of the listed are a bit wrong. A wild guess would be that only apprx 15-20% of pre-1964 B&O products are listed and close to none with any info. When/if I find the time I will see if I can put more info and photos in, question is if anyone

Welcome to Beoworld ! Great to read about vintage B&O gear ! I take it that you already know what the Master 510RG looks like (attached photo) so what exactly do you want to know about it ? Martin

Reaching a technique for doing the display rebuild took me a couple of years but there is no secrets. It's basically a matter of doing SMD work, contact-free soldering using hot air under a microscope. The LED's are microtiny ½x1mm (0402) or about the size of this punctuation mark. The LED's are normally only used in production and

I'm curious, what's wrong with the deck you have ? Martin

Sebastian, Welcome to Beoworld ! The motor may need a good cleaning and lubrication, this is very normal. The motor needs to be taken apart, bearings cleaned and oiled using acid-free oil (sewing-machine oil). The Beocenter 3600 is a rare bird so is definitely worth repairing ! The service manual is available in our download section at a small fee.
