I reckon the 4500 needs servicing - I suspect the variable resistors in the power supply are out. A 4500 should be able to drive S75s to full volume no problem!

This is a US device which allows the use of third party video equipment and gives you remote control via a Beolink 1000. It is really designed for use with a Beosystem 7000 so I can't offer much insight into how it will connect to a 5000 system which uses a completely different remote. Graham Slee makes good RIAAs. There will be no fall in quality - the Beogram 6500 has a built in RIAA itself - I would expect the Graham Slee one to be at least as good.

It is possible to get an external sensor for the VX7000 though it needs to be hardwired into the machine. Quite tricky to find one though. The VX5000 has a socket for the same reason.

You will see at the top right of your screen the words Signed in as Andro Click on your name and a new window will open and about half way down you will find the button to switch off emails - remember to save your changes.

Why not just use your own? The reason they ask is for compatibility of parts - some parts will fit one CD mechanism and not others. In this case I am not convinced it makes much difference but why complicate things. If they have a record of your serial number, it might be useful if your item is stolen in the future.
