Welcome to Beoworld ! As you've already found out there is no dedicated STOP button. You will have to press PAUSE and when the deck stops, gently by hand, push the tonearm to its home position. Martin

From a technical point of view, I think it could be interesting to know about eventual technical troubles prior to an eventual purchase. I never serviced a pair yet and never owned any of them but I wonder if anyone ever encountered electronic faults or the likes with either the 6000 or 8000 or are they just technically rock solid ? Welcome to Beoworld ! The Beocenter 2200 is stereo all the way. Either your cartridge is bad or something inside the Beocenter is amiss. Try with another cartridge. Martin

Yes, the contacts can be the problem. You can diagnose this by looking at the display on the MCP; If it lights up when rotating the wheel, the contacts are fine and vice versa. If it lights up but doesn't actually change volume, the fault lies elsewhere, most likely in the optical pulse readout from the wheel. Parts are available for this but err

Yes, I have a pair of original crossovers, used but tested good. Martin

Eugenio, Seems to be in the tuner section. Can you provide more info ? What type of IC is on the board, is it a 4066 ? Serial number on Beocenter ? Martin
