The Beomaster is actually quite rare - very nice as well. I would put it on eBay - you might get some interest. This is a really good little amplifier - a bit like a mini 4400 with a lot of the same circuit design. The Beocord, although very good for its time, will be much more difficult to move.

I would complain to the dealer first and then, if no joy, complain to Struer.

You have landed on your feet here! The 1202 is the best of the 1200 range, being based upon the top of the range Beogram 3000 . Couple of notes: 1. Make sure the little pegs are in the correct holes - the outer ones are slightly longer than the inner ones. They can get mixed up after cleaning! 2. I strongly suggest an adapter - This one with an extra earth wire is ideal. Please do not cut off the DIN plug! You will regret it!

In absolute terms I am afraid not a lot. Not completely sure what you have - if it is a Beomaster 1500 and a Beocord 1900, about £30. If it is a Beomaster 1900 and a Beocord 1500 then the Beomaster, if it works and is in decent condition, will get over £50 alone. The Beocord is worth almost nothing I am afraid. Off on a slight tangent here - but it is interesting to note that the BM4401 has a red line like the 4400 which suggests to me that this was even more likely to be a very limited run - 2 known so far!

The plastic screens are removable from the metal parts but the 4000 has a green line on the screen and the 3000 a red one!
