  • Re: Who made the best buy on a used Bang & Olufsen gear???

I think it was the pair of flawless passive Pentas, a BL1000 and really clean, white BM6500 + BC6500 + CD6500 + VX5000 for 450 €. Had to fix the three last ones, though, and I'm still irritated by the fact that they guy had sold the matching BG6500 earlier...

  • Re: What's playing RIGHT NOW?

Simple Minds: Street Fighting Years Haven't listened to this CD in years. Excessively pompous and so late 80s, but gotta love how the bass in "let it all come down" plays through the Pentas. Maybe Tears for Fears next... -mika

  • Re: Anyone like old cars?

  • Re: Luxury institute rank B&O

I see another point of confusion: high end doesn't necessarily imply luxury, and vice versa. As an example, I'd rather sip cognac on the back seat of a '60s Cadillac than a Lamborghini. If the latter had a back seat, that is.

  • Re: Beomaster speaker connection

barto: whats the best way to make sure the polarity is correct? what happens if i short circut the terminal? will it damage anything? Congratulations on your new speakers! Actually the polarity doesn't matter as long as you connect both speakers the same way. Don't put the sleeve on the first connector until you have connected the cable to the
