Is there a member from Estonia willing to help me with a purchase ? The seller refuses to ship out of Estonia and I would need the part shipped to Denmark. It is a lunchbox-sized object and not heavy. I will of course pay all related expenses, fees etc. Anyone ? Martin

Wow ! Actually, I think this is the first time I've ever seen B&O use the term "luxury" when describing their own products. Martin

To dismount the platter; Push up the center tap, grab it and pull straight up (there's a spring underneath). This will reveal three screws, undo these and the platter is lose. The round belt is the correct one. Martin

I'm afraid it's not. There are two different platters used in the Beogram 4002's - One for the AC motor version; The platter is very thick and has the subplatter integrated (where the belt sits). You cannot take off this type of platter without removing the belt. - Another for the DC motor version, the platter is "merely" a 3-4mm

(Translated) "The danish B&O microphone has all advantages ! The microphone housing itself is of pressed Beolit, which provides much greater protection than f.e. marble. Microphone noise has been taken to a minimum, achieved through meticulous selection of carbon particles and the special process they go through. In short - B&O, the ideal

Would love to be proved wrong but it is believed that only one single Hypérbo 5RG Steel exists today (apart from any number of replicas). As far as I know, it can be seen in an industrial museum in Oslo, Norway. Martin

Hi D1ck, The Beo 610 came with (what I believe was an optional) mains power supply for building into the radio. Not all owners needed this power supply because the radio was mainly meant for use on boats etc. Mine has it and it's in the schematics as well. The power supply gives -12V. Note that the radio uses "negative voltage" all through

Supposing that the deck makes a clear click-sound from the solenoid at the correct time for lifting but the actual lift is delayed, it's probably just a matter of lubrication. Do a search on the fora, we've had this countless times on Beogram 4002/4004. Martin
