The lift problem is down to dried lubrication of the mechanism. Do a search, we've had this issue with many Beogram's. Martin

Welcome to Beoworld ! Yes, there should be a brass pulley on the motor shaft, apprx 10mm in diameter. It's a press-fit but will also have been glued. Martin

The knob will be a bit hard to find. I would love to be proved wrong but I think they are unique to this model and the tuning knob is the only one of that size, the others are far smaller. Maybe one of the early Beolit portables (611 DeLuxe) is close enough ? I don't sell manuals. PM to D1ck. Martin

To me, it seems that everything runs on -9V when batteries are used and split up when mains is used so that the amplifier then runs on -12V and the rest on -9V, both voltages then coming from the mains power supply.
