Hi Martin, Thank you for your quick reply. I did indeed check the laser with my Nikon digital camera but still see no laser. In cd test mode 1 it does try to zoom in/out and I guess it's trying to focus but sees no laser. The moter does spin up in test mode 3 and the laser arm does move up and down in test modes 5 and 6. thank you for the website

I think Eugene's red RL looked really good as well. yes, all the cx frets are the same and are thus interchangable. It's also easy to change the fabric on them. The fabric is very similar to a polo shirt fabric which can be found in any fabric store in many colors/

it's true that Alu finished ones are very hard to find on ebay. And for me too : anything but the basic black ... I do have a pair that I had repolished.... It's quite a bit of work to get to a nice shine on these... But they look stunning with my stacked beosystem 7000!!!! If you need any info, let me know. In the meantime, good luck with your

Hi Everyone, A friend of mine moved a couple of months ago and as you can guess... the movers dropped it, broke the glass doors and some of the plastic shell. When they plugged it in, it shorted out.
Hi Eugene, Let us know what you have planned for these ? I am currently doing a pair in really bad shape. They will be refoamed and get an all new

Hi Steve, Congratulations on the purchase. I have one too and I love it. I use a beolink1000 with it. which seriously easier to use with it than the beo4. The remote of preference would be a beolink7000 (though the 6500 has no RDS) or a mcp6500 I owned them both but sold them as they just took up too much space. (regretting selling the beolink 7000
Pete, The satillites are passive, with a powered subwoofer. The subwoofer has a High pass filter adjustment, so getting good sound for music is no problem. You sound as if you recomend the CX 100s as a replacement for the total package, and I simply want to know if they would be good for satillites. My "reciever"
