• Re: Help! - Linking BV3 with Beomaster 5500
I think you need quite a late version of the SW to get it to work maybe? My 5500 is connected to a BV7 using a 1611 and I don't have to use any AV keys at all.
You're right, early (not updated) BM5500s won't support Datalink via the MCL connectors and I'm sure this is the case for the audio aux

  • Re: Beomedia 1 problem - WindowsXP Admin screen?
The screen with the two lines is the xp boot screen shown in a multi boot environment. So at this time no operating system is loaded. That's maybe the reason why the usb keyboard is not dedected.
You're right. Dunno about the Beomedia, but many motherboards have direct USB keyboard support (emulating a PS

  • Re: Beomedia 1 problem - WindowsXP Admin screen?
Ok, thanks for doing that keyboard test, I don't know why the direction arrows are not doing anything on my keyboard , but I will try plugging it into the ps2 socket with an adaptor.
A word of warning: an adaptor alone won't necessarily solve this. The USB and PS/2 keyboard interfaces aren't compatible
(after ripping out the corroded contact from the pad with the old battery and soldering a new 9v connector in...;-)
This sounds to me like a battery has leaked sometime in the past, and now the acid / corrosion has finally started to create problems. I would start by thorough cleaning / resoldering / reassembly

  • Re: what about the deale conference????
It's very annoying reading these threads full of either speculation or little hints.
It's enlightening to go and read similar threads from a few years back. Some of the advance "information" gives you a good laugh in retrospect

  • Re: BL4000 single wall plate

Aren't there tunnels, catapults or some such that you could use to transport this weapon of mass destruction cross the border?

  • Re: Beomaster/CD 4500 glass panel replacement
Yes, I know Mika, have to check why that's happening with the green (glass) paint I've been using.
The paint seems rather thick - maybe it would work better if you thin it and then apply several layers? A lot more work unfortunately. Dunno if another layer of that light dispersing opaque tape on the LED

  • Re: Beomaster/CD 4500 glass panel replacement
So just a few here of the results and the rest can be seen on my webalbum for those who are interested!
All right! These beat the black glasses by a nautical mile! Did you consider using some kind of coloured foil for the lighted areas, similar to the display windows? The result with the coloured paint seems a
