torn between two lovers (he, that's a song..;-) I really like them both for they both have their strong and weak points. so I use them both !!! :-)
But in reality, shouldn't a newer 'more advanced' & more expensive product replace a previous remote and not accompany it!

At the time of its launch, some, including myself, cast doubt upon it as a remote and particularly its shape. I don't own one but from the reports from those who do there are some 'issues' with it. There are those though who whatever the new product from B&O, always greet it as something wonderful. Witness the almost hysterical anticipation

Hi again Dragos. Your connection idea would work fine. I've connected my ATV to my 'old but beautiful' 4500 setup for audio. The ATV has standard left/right phono out and I made up my own cable by joining a phono cable to a B&O cable I had and which had the necessary DIN plug to connect to my B&O. Don't know about the input sockets

Airport Express is a great option, but the music on your PC cannot be controlled from your location downstairs, nor of course could it be with your cable idea.
Airport Express all the way! Do you have a wireless network? What iPod are you using? If you have a Touch, then all you

Hi Dragos, Unless I'm missing something, the title of your posting makes reference to an iPod but the actual text talks about listening to your 'computer music'. No mention of an iPod nor how the music is stored on the PC, eg; iTunes. I agree about the cable length. Too long. Airport Express is a great option, but the music on your PC cannot

Seems an absolutely pointless and irrelevant product to me. But I have been known to be wrong before! Surely an absolutely fundamental function of a product such as this should be a large display of the time, especially when first thing in the morning, focusing is not that easy for most people. Style over substance springs to my mind.

Have come across the jbmedia range. It was briefly highlighted in early 2008 on this forum, but I can't recall any discussion since their introduction. Anyone have any knowledge/experience of the Light Manager Classic & the Actuators? Rather than, as with the LC2s, each controller being stand-alone, jbmedia have the central receiver unit which

The other (small) thing is that the MKIII had absolutely zero issues by the time I traded it in. The MKIV had a collection of small issues (and some major) that shouldn't have happened - the MKIV should have been perfection, as they were building on a solid platform of a sw 5.08-based MKIII :) Not intended as a criticism Moxxey, but I am constantly
Thanks Kokomo So, I need 5pin DIN plug ?
Others may have the PIN configurations to hand, but I believe although the plug may be a 5 pin only the left/right audio will be wired to the necessary pins in the plug. The DIN plug, like the scart, has certain pins designated to appropriate functions so you can be
