I know I will be unable to use the beo4 to control the bm6000 but would like to link them both up. So do I have to have it connected to the TP2 socket as thats where my cdx is at the moment. I could always put the cdx into TP1 though I suppose. Also what option should the avant be in?

I would like to connect my Avant to my BM6000 (80's). I have a Beolink convertor 1611 thingymajig. Is this all that i need and can any one tell me how it should be done. Thanks,

Why buy a Rolls Royce/Ferrari etc. You can have a Kia or a Tata or whatever they are called instead. They do exactly the same job in getting you from a to b. I like B&O because of the small details and the beautiful looks. If the asda dvd player and stereo looked like the B&O equipment and cost £20 I would buy it instead. For me its not

I am toying with the idea of putting the picture in picture module in my Avant RF 28 and was wondering how hard or easy is it. Is it a plug and play affair or are there any tricky things to do. Also does any one have a PIP module left over from a dead Avant that they dont need.

I have an 80's Beomaster 6000 with a CDX playing through some recapped and refoamed MC120.2's and in my opinion it sounds much nicer than, say an ouverture and either BL6000's or BL8000's. I would even say that at normal listening levels I prefer the MC120's over pentas although the pentas get better the higher the volume. I am sure

Get in touch with Dillen (Martin) and he can supply you with idiot proof instructions and a kit to replace the capacitors. I have done it to some S80.2's and it is very worthwile.

No problems, I dont think I had what you were after as I was on about the later video terminal. Good to see the members helping each oher out
