I agree with seethroughyou, the last thing I want to do when I get home is have to use a computer to put music on to relax. I spend the day e-mailing etc...so to use a B&O is a pleasure. I think people are so obsessed about technology, there's nothing wrong with being up to date with technology and making use of it but within reason. I have

Hi Chris Well doing the adjustment has made a huge difference. From not opening at all when pressing the eject button, it now opens perfectly. The lid is still skew, that is, the one side sticks over ever so slightly. Most people wouldn't care but I would like it to be perfect but I don't think its going to be possible. I'm very happy though

Hi Chris I will give that a try. I have to say that it is only slighty skew, but enough to sometimes catch on the glass panel. I will update once I've tried!! Thanks Ben

I've aquired a CD X which works perfectly except for the lid that is slightly skew. It interferes with the lid opening and closing at times. The hinges are fine and I don't see any evidence of repairs to either of them. Is it possible to re-align the lid? I am presuming that it moved during shipping. Thanks Ben

The Beocord 5500 only shows circuit diagrams, no mechanical parts.

I am trying to replace the belt on my Becord 6500. Its the wide belt.....I can't figure out at all how to put it on. The thin ones are easy, just the wide belt. If anyone can help me, I'd be very appreciative. Thanks
