Notepad and a pen. Sorry, couldn't help myself

Is there any functional difference other than the power voltage?

RARE? I seriously thought you were joking when I first read this thread title. Maybe they're rare in Europe, but on the US ebay market there's definitely no shortage. In all seriousness I've seen 3 of these on ebay at once in the US. The prices vary ridiculously though. When there's more than one on ebay at once I've seen them go

I don't have pentas (yet, at least ) but from what I remember, there are plastic tab clips going around the frets that snap into the speaker. You have press each tab starting at one end and unsnap them. Might want to wait for someone else to chime in since as I said I've never done it myself though. Austin

No problem, and no, not for a living, just as a small hobby. I was just thinking about it more though. If you skip the bottom 2 holes, and just use the top 2, and make the rear plate low enough, then you'd still have access to slide bolts in from the back. This is probably already more fabrication work than you had wanted to do anyway though. I

Frank, I tossed together a quick 3d rendering of what I think might work for you. I've made the front plate (the part that goes against the speaker) with 4 holes so it can go through all 4 screws in the back. With a bracket like this though you won't have access to slide bolts in from the back, so you would need to use some threaded rods. You

Catboy listen to Soundproof. The cables shouldn't make a difference. You're transmitting a digital signal. This means the only way the cable would make a difference would be if it was so bad that you were actually losing data bits, which the B&O cable, or probably any cable you could buy out there isn't. The cables can make a difference

Ignace: How about Beosystem 4500 (3500) ? Just make sure the glass panels aren't still held on with the old double-sided tape, as they're likely to fall off.

Hmm, I'm having trouble visualizing the setup you just described Frank. And as Peter said the backs are plastic. The four black screws on the back just sandwich the plastic backing on. If you use two of them for mounting, then none of the load bearing is on the plastic. Although as Peter said the plastic is pretty tough anyway. I'd just be a

No problem Frank. And yes, you could do all 4. I just said 2 because I though it'd be easier. If you take only 2 screws out you still have the other 2 holding the back of the baffle against the speaker. Also, it's easier to drill 2 holes spaced correctly apart than drilling 4 spaced correctly. Even just 2 screws will be more secure than the
