tom: soundproof: My surround processor automatically detects when a TV-transmission is in 5.1 or stereo and switches accordingly. So I can't say I'm in a fixed mode. My BV7 does the same; SW 6.3 Mine does too, except when the speaker 1 is selected in the VIDEO menu. Then the speaker setting stays put, and never changes. Try it for your self

roarmo: QUESTION 3 (a little off topic): Does anyone have experience using different projector brands/models connected to the BeoSystem 3? If yes, which ones are you using? Suggestions? During the tour at the B&O site we visited Beoliving. If I'm not mistaken the projector was around 7000 euro... Sorry don't know the brand.

Peter: Well that seems to have died a death! They don't go out of their way to advertise it though! I thought about going on today but it was just too much hassle finding the link. Browse down on the bang-olufsen.com site and select CONTACT On this page you'll find quoted information. Select chatroom 1 and you're up and running. Online communication

Customer Service, Bang & Olufsen [12/5/2007 2:01:00 PMCET] [#3412] The chat room will now close Coolskin, Netherlands [12/5/2007 2:01:00 PM CET] [#3411] When I read the BS9000 story I became aware of the time, patience, money and dedication that was necessary to give birth to a new member of the B&O family. I think the story was ment as a case

jandyt: Thanks to both of you for your replies. For the last 14 years, I've beeen watching TV in stereo with my Pentas. It takes a lot of getting used to hearing sound from the TV. Over the last two or three weeks I have been trying my new set up in diferent ways and I must admit that I don't like the 5 speaker setup for regular TV programs

Andy T, the latter. The stereo on the front is the same as on the rear speakers. Nice to use during a party when low volumes don't fill the room, and an extra set speakers can help. Otherwise IMHO the speaker 4 mode is useless.

PAJ: Coolskin: @PAJ I think it should be possible to use the B&O sensor. Somewhere else in this forum thread you should find the wirediagram to connect the wires inside the B&O sensor. I only used the Lintronic sensor because I have it available. As I said before, it is now again connected to the window screens. This sensor has the same IR range

tom: I'd be interested in starting my own blog to, so I am waiting for news on this one. Contact Peter and he will help you out. He can't do it himself, but he will sort it out.
