Matthew, The most difficult part of installing the Beolab 3500 on the wall mount, is the Masterlink cable and mains cable must only have a small amount of cable coming out of the wall and so you really need a second person to hold the Beolab while you are plugging the cables in. This is particularly difficult where you have a plastered around the two

If the standby light is on and then goes green for a short time then back to red means the power supply protection circuit has almost certainly been triggered. This will occur for any number of reasons, but more often than not you have a short circuit component which is causing to much current to be drawn from the power supply and so being shut down

[quote user="scramble"] From the service menu the service counters give 0338 Stand-by days:- 0017 Audio days:- 0443 Video days and 0383 ON/Off (times*10), there are no stored error codes. There is no reason for you to actually open the file, that will not help you. When the system or you manually load any driver onto a Windows system it looks for a file with an .INF extension which in the case of the Beo5 is called Beo5usb.inf located in C:\Bang & Olufsen\Beo5 Configuration Tool\Beo5Driver First, make sure your Beo5 is fully charged
-
If you have installed the Configuration Tool on a Windows 7 PC you will need to manually install the Beo5 driver. You will need to browse for Beo5Usb.inf in the Beo5Driver directory.

Gary, What you have found has come from the Lintronic web site and are Lintronic code sets. The first 3 digits define the code set in question with 717 being for Sony and 716 being defined as an NEC protocol. The following digits are the associated parameters and are used by the Lintronic boxes firmware. If you have purchased a Lintronic converter box

The most likely reason is the Carrier Frequency is incorrect
