You would appear to have picked the wrong cartridge! I believe you sent one back to Lee - I imagine that was the one Axel had just rebuilt!

Cleve's deck has had the capacitors changed in the past. It has been serviced both by B&O and TJ.

I use a pair of these. They perform very well at low volumes. You do really need the stands - Goodness knows why anyone should remove them! They will probably need the capacitors changing to brighten them up a bit. There are a lot in there! The bass on these is quite superb = very detailed and accurate. The phase link unit can have rot and is a funny

I take it that it is the twin cassette version? If so, you need an adapter.

Mine worked for about a year and then chewed my favourite tape by running backwards. Not bothered since then!
