Have you looked at some of the Dvico (Tvix) PVR's? http://www.tvix.co.kr/ENG/productList.aspx They're small, and they look pretty good in my book.

  • Re: BeoMaster 5 Dimensions

I'd say the cables would add less than five centimeters (two inches). However, you'd need at least 15-20cm behind that box if you intend to be able to check cables and/or swap them. I don't have one, but cables are the same, no matter the box. It might be possible to mount it vertically, thereby having the cables at the bottom, and therefore
What is the point of making a flat TV? It's boring. They should embrace the third dimension. Is it so it can hang on a wall? If I saw a TV on the wall I'd ask 'who is this peasant and why doesn't he have any art?' Suitable for cashed-up-bogans, but inferior.
That's a lot of assumptions

A few things spring to mind: A) It's a great looking telly. And I usually don't like big tellies (uh, yes, a 40" is big to me). B) It seems the "speaker cover" is covering a lot more than the speakers. C) DKK 6500,- for an antireflective coating? Get out of here. D) They will have to fire the PR company who set up this POS unveiling

I sort of like it. I'm not so fond of glossy, though, so I wonder how glossy it is in real life? The same of course go for the BV10. I wonder how glossy that really is.

Mads, I assume you're danish? If so, transmitting on the FM band is illegal. Also, I hope you live in a house so your neighbours don't get bad FM reception whenever you fiddle your remote. With that said, I have to say I find your entire project rather innovative and big kudos to you for taking it on :)
Hey... The truth is I have added gyration to the remote... Then I can use it as mouse in Windows...
Haha, that figures. IMO, you should have chosen Wii's gyration instead. That way you'd be able to swing it as a bat. Seriously, is it an iPod/MBP remote? I really think you should come clean now!

It really IS an MBP/iPod remote added, isn't it? Very small - especially without the battery and casing, and if I recall, it has the same number of buttons as that thingy (five). Do you turn it 180 degress to use the added buttons, or have you routed it to the top?
