Intermittent ending play (actually a processor reset) is one of countless typical symptoms of aging capacitors. A cap kit is available (from me) and I suggest you replace the lot and check for bad solders while in there, especially in the power supply area, transformer connector and any other places that look suspicious. The cap kit contains component

Yes, the lamps need to be of correct wattage and actually need to be all working to guarantee correct operation. A kit is available for convenience, it comes with (dis-)assembly instructions. Basic electronic tools are needed. Martin

Welcome to Beoworld ! First make sure that the record source switch (near the MIC socket) is set correctly. If still no luck, you need to measure around a bit and follow the signal on an oscilloscope to find where it gets lost. The record/playback relay and Dolby relay if present in your machine are known trouble makers. Aging capacitors can also cause

Welcome to Beoworld ! Grab a capacitor kit and replace the lot. Aging capacitors are the causes of almost 100% of the cases of humming in these little beauties and there is a lot of them in there. A lamp kit is also available. The two outer pins in the 7-pin DIN will unscrew using a tiny watchmakers screwdriver, that will make the DIN fit in any standard

Generally the above is correct though I have seen a few BM1900/1900-2 and 2400 that were converted for use with the Beogram 4004 (and 2404). The BM1900 won't allow remote control but the 1900-2 could be upgraded. All 2400 and 2400-2 has remote control. The safest thing is, as mentioned above, to check the turntable DIN socket, it needs to have 7

I'm afraid that mounting LED's won't work. Neither the discriminator lights nor the volume control will work correctly since these circuits are depending on the lamps wattage. The Beomaster may also suffer from a problem going into standby for the same reason (wrong 15V load). A lamp kit containing correct lamps are available. Foam surrounds
