"Problemet" med at MPX-lampen og signalstyrkemåleren "blinker" efter at have tændt og slukket radioen er ganske normalt, det er bare kondensatorerne i kredsløbet som aflader når du slukker og oplader/stabiliserer når du tænder En Beomaster 8000 skal bestemt ikke smides ud, den er da relativt sjælden

In the third "Crocodile Dundee" movie, there is a scene when Dundee is in a bathtub and he operates a Beo1 remote, the curtains fly up and musec begins playing etc. And there is a B&O stereo + TV in the house elsewhere

The Beolink converter is very rare, I would program a Beo5, Beo6 or a Logitech multifunction remote if you want to control all in your home

Me and my Father are having the Bug together, it is indeed self-amplifying... It's not fun seeing all that B&O getting in and out of the house when my Mother demands us to sell some of it... Got a Beomaster 6000 quad once, she told me to sell, same with a Beogram 4000 a year ago. Pretty annoying when you enjoy collecting the stuff.

Hehe, after I lubed up the arm stransport spindle, I put the machine together as I would do to any other model of the 4000 series, having done this many times before. I put on a record and played the whole side to watch for errors, it did quite well and returned to "park" position as expected. Aftewards, I would like to see how the 4000 performed

Hello John, I changed the relay on my 4002 type 5513, that was all which was needed to fix the problem. It is located beneath the control panel -Søren

Hello, I have just bought a nice Beogram 4000 which has newer been serviced since it rolled out of the factory in September 1973, the only apparent problem were that the spindle had to be lubricated with some acid free oil. It played perfectly, but now it have a small issue... When "on" is depressed, the arms won't move out by itself.
