andy on other pieces i have pulled apart there is also a fuse in the circuit to the stdby tranny - usually a small round piece about 3/8" diam and about the same height with 2 prongs underneathe which plug into the board if you check that first it maty save some toil - may be a vain hope! cheers t

Andy I had a simalir problem with an ml/mcl conververter std by transformer found one on a frech component site, if you can get the board out and send it to me i'll have a go the job took about 30 mins salut t
