20 years ago, the BeoCord VX 7000 had a label stating "designed and engineered in Denmark, assembled in Japan" (by Hitachi). I never had a problem with it, as long as B&O don't manufacture in China.. Why should B&O be the only ones to blame? B&W make all their ICE-powered subwoofers in China, the PV1 costs EUR 1500, the BeoLab

Hi, this will not help you but I sold my BeoSound 2 as soon as I bought my Serenata, the only audio player that can playback lossless wma files. The BeoSound 6 can play WMA upto 320 kbps, instead of 192 k for BeoSound 2. And yes, the max SD capacity on BS2 is 2 Gb, but at 192 k that means a lot of audio files already, and you can choose 133X cards with

Hi, the green led on your BeoSound says it has a timer stored in it, is your BeoSound linked to a video master (BeoVision)? Besides, can you use the manual keyboard on the BeoSound but not your Beo4? In that case, it means your system is set to option 0 (no remote control), you need to set it back to audio option 1 or 2 to be able to use the Beo4 again

Ha ha! Remember the 4000 was originally black, there is no dealer around to sell an aluminium replacement "body", so this is a 5-minute job with an alu adhesive roll. The speaker cover, however, took much longer, I removed the fabric cover and polished the metal cover to make it look like the BeoSound 1 grille. At normal distance & light

Hi BeoWorlders, I recently changed my whole setup at home & for my bathroom, the only logical choice was the Lab 4000 (the BeoLab 2000 had not enough bass in that cathedral-sounding environment, and the sound was terrible, too much treble and no bass), but my BeoLab 4000 were all black..So here's what I did:

Going back to the topic, I think the laptop looks splendid, however from a form & function point of view, there's one major drawback for me: this laptop, given its dimensions, is going to spend 90% of the time at home on a table or desk, but all the connections are on either side of the PC, so the whole clean design will be ruined by USB, power

Actually yes and no: B&O is one of the very few companies in the world where the designer and the CEO are the only 2 persons who can stop or cancel a project.

True, there is no replacement to BeoLink 5000, since 2-way communication was discontinued with the remotes; design-wise, the Beo4 is the closest you could get to the 5000, operation-wise you could go for a second-hand BeoLink 7000 if you want to keep the 2-way capabilities. What products are you going to use with your remote control?
