I have a beogram 1000 with the optional preamp fitted which I am getting rid of. It will be going to the great record deck collection in the sky. If somebody wants the preamp from it they can have it for £10 and a small donation to the site. I havent heard it working but am assured that it did until very recently when someone broke the stylus

Cheers for that. As the deck is in a bit of a bad way I will take it out so if any one needs it, it can be theirs for a small fee and a donation to the site.

Could some one tell me if this Beogram 1000 has the optional preamp. Is it the board on the left. There are loads of capacitors and other things on the other side of it.

I have wireless internet at home, so do I only need an airport express thingy. I have an iphone too so I take it I can control it through that.

I have no idea about wireless stuff really (airport express etc) but would love to connect my computer up to my hi fi. Would it be possible to connect airpot express or equivelent to an 80's Beomaster 6000 or my Avant. This might be a stupid question but I really have no idea!

No probs, I am emptying my cupboards of all the bits and pieces I seem to have collected. How I forgot I had a pair of RL140's is a mystery!! They took up most of the cupboard

I have a pair of RL140's which will need refoaming and one of them is cracked in a couple of places but they do have their straps. They are a bit sad looking but would be useful as spares or for fixing up. If any of you want them they are £20.

You may have the Penta 1's which do not have powerlink sockets like those on the 2500. You will be able to buy a powerlink to RCA cable and connect them through the line in but you will lose the display on the pentas.
