My very first encounter must be at my grandparents on both sides. Beovox S45-2 in oak and a Beogram 2202. Still in the family and works. Then there was the '70s Beomaster 2000 and Beolit 5..-7.. which I dont' know where its gone to these days. The B&O virus did not hit me untill 2003. I got to see a Beocord 9000 in rosewood upclose. As far as a converter goes it depends on on what year the AV9000 is from. Mine is from '98 and its a IMP version with 3.0 software. I asked the B&O shop about using a 1611 converter as I allready had one and for the IMP version you must use the 1611 if using an audio system other than the MVAP9000. So I'm using the 1611 with a Beomaster

If its just audio for active speakers you need the MCL2AV For Beovisions like your MX is the MCL2AV Xtra tvkit you will

Yes its not a problem doing a MCL2 setup with what you got. I sugest since you are a goldmember to go to mainsite under catalogs/service manuals link and download the system manual 89-90 which will cover all you need to know. For audio you will need a MCL2A in each room with a tranciver like the MCL2047 type which the latest. For ekstra tv's you

The audio system will be a Beomaster 6500 with MCL2AV type 2047 links. There will be 5 in total in the end with an mcl expander for the extra line. The system will be MCL for the most part. As far as I plan it the LX goes through the aux to the MCL2 AVpanel and then it goes via mcl cabel to the Beomaster 6500. Most likely a mcl distrubtion box where
