That is very nice to know Tournedos. I also found (to go a little more offtopic) this site where is shown the evolution of Mullard radios . Mine is type MAS 238. It is not HiFi, but it is definetely rare and Vintage. I own a Mullard Radio Receiver from 1948. A Great Britain Product with Internal Speaker and ability to connect a pickup! It is not in a good shape, but i have plans to restore it someway...

Just for future reference. It was the external power supply that failed. 15 Euros, a new one and everything is up and running again. Thank you all for your contributions on this.

The power supply seems ok. It lights up the green light. Or that is irrelevant if the power supply comes to its end??
