  • Re: Where is Beosound 5

If B&O wants a real flagship player, they just have to take out the hardware of these beautifull Classé components and put it in a new box . These components cost already 6k a piece, but thats ok if you can buy yourself a pair of Beolab 5's...

  • Re: Beolink 7000

Dave: Does the older Beocenter 2300/2500 use two way communication? I adore how it rises up once placed down. I have a Beolink 7000 RDS combined to a Beocenter 9500, and I love it. The two way communication doens't work with a 2300/2500 but the RDS radio does

Succes ermee

  • Re: Cables - for the last time?

wirralsimon: Best get the $45.000 ones, just to be sure. Beobird: Peter: You don't need $100 wire either - decent power cable will be fine! I reckon $10! If you use anolog signals (scart, speaker, interconnects) I recommend GOOD cables. 100 dollars is maybe a bit to much for a good 2x2mtr anolog speaker cable, but you won't get them for 10 dollars

  • Re: BeoLab 5 and a "phantom centre" channel

If you have really good fronts like the 5's, you don't need a centre to get a nice music image in front of you. A centre is maybe a good option if you prefer surround movies (home-cinema), but B&O doens't have a good centre for the range bl 5. I mean, the 8000's have got the 7-2, the 3/9's have got the 7-4. You can also use the

  • Re: Beovision 6 HD upgrade

If I would buy a non B&O digital pc screen it would be a top of the line Neovo x-w22. It has a special patented glass panal like B&O, multiple dvi-sockets and a s-video socket for tv-in . It isn't as cheap as the Sony or the Samsung (850,- Euro's), but the specs are suburb and it looks more classy http://www.neovo.nl/products/X-W22.html

  • Re: Beovision 6 HD upgrade

Peter: It will be a new processor - the screen remains the same. Ok, that sounds great . I would love to use the bv6 as a pc screen, but upon today it wasn't a good choice because of the pixels... Nowadays it should be much easier to use it as a pc screen with the improved processor . Let's wait for the reviews...

  • Re: Beovision 6 HD upgrade

Beolab: Zwets: I assume the BV6 will be 720p standard after the upgrade? Thats correct! Then It can handle 576i, 576p, 720p and downscaled 1080i... Regards So for 600,- you get a totally new screen (the old model hasn't got many pixels I thougt) ?
