Fantastic upgrade for your living room! Besides the look, I am not sure if a 2000 GBP discount on this huge price tag would please me to get the demo model. I recommend to ask the dealer to show you the service counter to see the usage of the panel. Karsten

I am not 100% sure, but the Samsung, a Panasonic and a Sony was on the PUC list for the BS3/BV7-40MKIII. You may want to check with your local dealer. However, not a good time to purchase a Blue Ray player (imho), the current generation has a lot of drawbacks. The only one I would buy is the Sony Playstation.....but new Blue Ray Player are close to

Not sure if you can get a BV4-42 screen as spare part, however, Panasonic still sells them and the BS3 supports them as well. The look of the panasonic 42 without the B&O frame is not that great, but the performance is equal (except for the anti-refelction screen) But if you sum this up, not sure if you save a lot of money for a second best solution

From my observation you are in the same dilemma as a lot of B&O lovers are in the moment. The TV Set's of B&O look great but the price tag is not always convincing. But with the whole "receiver" technology build in the TV (except the BS3) there not to many choices. I went with a BS3 and a Panasonic Plasma (sitting room) and for

I think the article spots the right problems and challenges B&O faces. Looking at the stores, not so much changed in the ones I visit on a regular bases. The article says the shops are not attractive like Prada or Gucci, more like a shop for bathroom interiour....I would not say this in that way, but a bit of truth is here. I know that we had discussed

This is quite common within other forums wgich frequently visit (e.g. avsforum) Why don´t you use Posts you have not read in the upper right corner? as far as I understand this shows me the

this would be my number 1 request, go to the first unread post without browsing through the whole tread to find out where I stoped last time. This is quite common within other forums wgich frequently visit (e.g. avsforum) This would be a much better user expirience! I hope this can be implemented with the current software. Karsten

Thanks for your help....excuse my lacking mac skills, but how does symlinking works? I did a quick search, but nothing like a "how to..." was found. As far as I understand handbrake it encodes the DVD to a smaller format, but I like to keep the orginal umcompressed. Any thoughts here? thank you Karsten

Eduard, thank you for puting some more light on this discussion. At least for me, this put your thoughts in a different perspective! However, for me at some point hard to comment as most of us do not have the insides of the moderators communication, but I fully understand your thoughts. Please still be a part of beoworld! Karsten
