1) Is the mac route the only way to go to get the ability of a "two way" remote for browsing through music files etc - pretty sure it is but just wanted to be sure as have never had a mac and would prefer to just use my PC if was possible. Whats the actual problem? You have a STB that receive HD broadcast? If so the BV7 should be able to show you the broadcast, through the DVI input. If your old TV had a inbuilt box that handled HD signal, you probably have to buy a separate STB for that purpose. /Claes

aweicc: I am not sure about sound reflection problem, I probably won't be able to tell . but what do you mean by a lot of hard surfaces though?
