Trying to refoam my CX50's was a learning experience for me. I learned that I lack the skills and dexterity to refoam speakers! I can however confirm that the original drivers are still available through B&O dealers, and that a quick call to King Street and a trip to Manchester solved the problem! Simon

Thanks Steve The cable arrived yesterday and everyhting is up and running, for the time being into my LS5500 using external speakers. It sounds a lot better plugged into the back of my iPod dock than it does plugged directlty into the iPod, sio that is how I am using it. It means I have a listenable music system in a room that otherwise wouldn't

I finally got around to taking it to King Street and my CD50 is now back with around half a dozen capacitors replaced and with the loading mechanism etc. given a thorough overhaul, and it is working better than ever. Simon

I am glad I read this thread because I was wondering earlier in the week if there was any way to play audio through the LX2800 in my bedroom, and this thread appeared. I have just ordered one of Steve's cables! Simon
