  • Re: BeoSystem AV9000

Thanks for some really helpful replies. A very good point about the 50Hz consideration Bingo, thanks for that. Just like you Nobby I too would rarely make use of the masterlink functionality although I do have that option in my current setup should I need it. I looked at the BeoCenter 1 which is interesting in terms of playing DVDs but it doesn't

  • BeoSystem AV9000

I am considering buying one of these TVs to use in the main bedroom as I really like the styling. Could I call upon the 'BeoExperts' to offer advice on what specific TV to try and source as I am sure there are several different models covering its 7 year lifespan. Does the TV use a flat screen or the older curved screens? Please do contact me

  • Re: Beo4 Query

I like the design of these TVs and considered buying one for a second bedroom, but is it really a worthwhile purchase considering that the tubes could go at anytime and I am guessing are not replaceable? Your thoughts appreciated. With thanks, Simon.

  • Re: Here it is - Picture of a new Serenata

Oh dear. I was hoping so much for something special this time around. First impressions I would have to say that I don't like it at all. I agree that 'in the flesh' it might suprise me, as the Beo 5 remote did earlier today, but only slightly. I don't particularly like that much either and will stick with a Beo 4. I am not holding out

  • Re: Beo 5 Countdown- who get the first one...?

jandyt: Simon, I neglected to tell you that, although it will still work after being dropped from a ten storey building, it probably won't work after it lands. Avant televisions have the same proprties. Andy T. Ah, now that is an important point you overlooked Andy!

Congratulations on your new purchase Mr Anders(son). The BV9 is indeed a wonderful product and I am sure you will have many enjoyable years using it. Glad it arrived safely and looking forward to seeing more pictures of your final setup. Best wishes. Simon.

  • Re: Beo 5 Countdown- who get the first one...?

jandyt: I'm really looking forward to receiving my Beo5. Yes, It is a totally different design to anything we've been used to and will take some getting used to. I was one of those lucky enough to have a play with one of these on our trip to Struer and it feels quite natural to use. You do realise that it can be dropped from a ten storey building

  • Re: Beo 5 Countdown- who get the first one...?

I have a Beo 5 remote on order along with the new BeoVision 7-40 and 7-1 speaker. Looking forward to seeing and using the new remote although I am not entirely taken in by its design from photos posted. The Beo 5 remote goes against the grain of traditional remote design and it can be difficult to accept change. Having said that, this is the very essence

  • Re: BV7 specs

I don't see any reason why it should be different from the USA spec. I am currently waiting for this TV to be delivered as and when it is released in the UK market. It would be senseless 2 have two different TVs from a production cost viewpoint when PAL and NTSC are the only distinct differences between the continents. It will be identical, feel
