The more I look at it and hear about it, the more I like! I think it will be a success!

I quite like my MCP 6500, especially when there are guests around. They always fall into the trap and ask about it then I can go on and on and on about all my B&O ;) I think they quite nice to use if they are in a place where they don't need to be moved to use them. I do have a Beolink 1000 incase.

Sometimes I feel that B&O is trying to decrease the interest in past products as it seems people tend to hang on to the B&O they have. Some of the older products are extremely good and for some people that is enough for them.

Hi and welcome to Beoworld I checked on the BM 4500 and 4400. The site says BM4500 man 1988-1994 and the BM4400 1977-1980. The photo's provided are correct as I own both items. Regards Ben

Happy Birthday!! Sounds like its been a wonderful one!

Unfortunately it is a common problem. With age the plastic becomes brittle and do not hold the little metal runners in place anymore therefore causing them to stop working. One has to open the Beomaster up and glue the metal runners back in place. Its not difficult really just annoying. There aren't any replacement sliders so repairing the originals

All I can say is that if they are anything like my RL140's then get ready for the most screwing you will ever do in your life!!
I've emailed him :) His email address is easy to find on that website, although I'm not going to present it here, for privacy reasons.
Best I don't e-mail him then.....death threats are rarely well received lol!!!!

I don't think its for either. Its simply for people who appreciate the unique design style of B&O, the build quality and sound quality. People buy what they like, they like what they see, they buy it. Sure B&O is expensive but you can't buy a quality product that 20yrs down the line people still find very desirable at a cheap price.
