• Re: How to activate "A.AUX" on a BS4 in a link setup

If you have a BL active, it depends on the SW to make A.AUX work - as far as I know. We had a thread here some time ago. As far as I remember you need SW 1.6, SW1.1 and 1.3 won`t work. A.TAPE won`t work, because this should activate the internal SD card player (but should be possible to activate from a linkroom BL active...?). Maybe N.RADIO (PHONO)

  • Re: Beosound Ouverture output left speaker weak

I think so too. Maybe a contact problem with the headphone socket, or the mute relay not working properly. I`d plug - unplug the headphone several times, and if this doesn`t help press the mute button several times. just a guess.... Stefan

  • Re: B&O Beogram CD 4500 Datalink

Connect the CD4500 to the A.TAPE socket of your BM4500 and try to control it in A.TAPE mode. If this will work, your CD4500 should be ok. For the datalink wiring: http://www.beoworld.org/beotech/mclconn3.htm Hope this helps. Stefan

  • Re: Beolab 2 and beolab 3 connections

Just connect the rear Powerlink out to BL2 Powerlink input and the BL3s to Powerlink out of your BL2. Now the BL2 is set up as rear sub. Stefan

  • Re: Beosound Ouverture output left speaker weak

Connect the Beolabs directly to your Ouverture. If the sound is ok, I`m quite sure, the ML cable is faulty. The Masterlink has balanced signal, thre wires for right channel (2x signal, 1x ground) and three for the left channel. If one wire is missing, there will be a signal, but less volume and bass. See also beotech Masterlink wiring. Stefan

Are you sure you have connected your Ouverture with the BV10 via a Powerlink cable? You have to use a Masterlink cable. The Powerlink sockets are all outputs , not inputs. Stefan

  • Re: BV 10-40 and sat receiver integration
....... As the audio part of the BV 10-40 seems to be decent enough for breakfast music, I wonder how I can persuade the TV to stay dark while the audio part does its thing. The audio source would be the Reelbox, either through digital sat radio, or internet radio or local streaming. .......
Assign your stb as

Stefan

If you have no V.MEM source in the bedroom, press AV - V.MEM. IR receiving device in the bedroom must be set to V.OPT 6. But as far as I know, HDMI (digital) sound can`t be distributed via Masterlink.... Stefan
