>>BTW why are video functions disabled?>> It seems simple to do but if we look carefully what all is missing to make it a decent music player and how complicated that seems to be it might have been a good idea. WMA beeing the only choice for gapless playing is just one example. Just doesn't fly when you are on a Mac.

yes they should be adding this to the puc. I miss the genius as well on my atv. JK

They closed that when they opened the virtual Bang & Olufsen world. JK

>>The BV10 is less than 2/3 the price of the BS3 (USD)<< So the special offer on the US BV8 is permanent then? That wold be really a deal then .... will be interesting if that brings in a new audience into the stores .....

>>I can't see them walking away from what is a new product but I can't see many folk still buying it if a decent two way solution is available<< That is one of the reasons I am holding out. They still would be selling Beomedia 5 though. I would think that people who do not have an audio master or wish to replace theirs would pick

>>B&O could easily write an app for the iPhone/iPod Touch that enabled us to control our Beomaster 5, as it's connected to the same network as the iPod Touch. This would be a very easy and cheap two-way solution.<< Frankly, I do not want cheap. I would want a nicely designed device, I would not want to fiddle linking my itouch into
